Calendar For TV
Are there any TV shows you watch, and hate to miss? Worse, even, when you do watch it, it's always the same episode...in rerun? Have I got a fix for you! No, it's not Tivo.
This is a calendar that will let you know when your show is on, but only when it's a new episode of your show. If it's a rerun, you won't even see it listed on the Calendar.
The first time you visit the site, you'll see all shows currently in first-run broadcast. Near the bottom of the page, you'll see a link called 'Set Filter Settings'. This will take you to a page of all current prime time shows in alphabetical order. You then choose which ones you would like to be placed in your calendar, then click the box labeled 'Set Filters'. This will then take you back to the page you navigated to first, but now, only the shows you have chosen will be in the Calendar! Magic! While it is not flawless, most shows are accurately reported on, and I would say the percentage is over 90% for having their information right.
I used to read magazines and the newspaper hoping to find when my new show would be on. Now I just check my 'Calendar for TV'. Enjoy!

Hey ! Good Info !
ReplyDeleteI use your "Calendar for TV" quite often. But, it does miss a show once in a while. Grey's Anatomy for example, this past Thursday, was not listed on the Calendar, but, there was a new episode. Although its fairly accurate, 99%. Try "TV.com" too. It lists all the tv shows ever made. You can check on your favorites and know when to tune in for the next upcoming episode. It usually posts 2 or 3 upcoming shows. It also lists all previously aired shows, so you can check and see if you missed any. The draw back, you have to look them up one at a time.
I do love tv.com. It has all the info you could possibly want on any and all shows. If they had a calendar format you could choose to look at a month at a time of all your shows, they would be as good as 'calendar for tv', but they don't. Thanks for the posting though!!!
