Pandora

Just wanted to drop a quick line to anyone who scans by my site once in awhile. I have started using a really cool music site lately called Pandora. It is sort of self-directed radio, without the ads. Now, some of you are asking, why listen to anything other than my mp3's anyway? Well, I know some of you probably have GB and GB of music, but just as any of you will hopefully admit, as much as we love to hear our old tunes, sometimes it's nice to hear something new, right? The problem comes when we start going out there looking for new music. We can just listen to the radio, and hope something that is getting airplay will be something we like, we can talk to our friends, we can talk to the record store guys...the list is endless, but often endlessly frustrating as well. What Pandora is so great for is that you train it to know what kind of music you want to hear, and then it searches it's database for music that fits the same profile and plays it for you. So you get to hear music you've never heard before, and yet at the same time, not suffer through songs you loathe! Genius! At least try it out for a few days while you're checking your email and surfing, and see if Pandora doesn't play you something you've never heard of that you love.
Happy Listening!
