The Browser

Hey! Thanks for dropping by this blog. I hope you'll find information here that will help you out while you're exploring the internet, and maybe even some that will help you when your not online.

first stuf first

So you're online, and surfing about. You've come to check out this site, so you're getting the hang of all this. My first recommendation to you is to try to find an alternate browser to use, rather than good old Internet Explorer, a.k.a. the blue 'e'. My favorite browser is Mozilla Firefox, for which I will add a button for you to find easily and download. There are several others that you may want to try, but please give Firefox a brief spin. It is a free download, it runs no advertising, it contains no bad software that you would rather not have on your system. The first benefit that I have found with Firefox is the lack of popups. I hear all the time how people are so upset about having to deal with popups on their computer, meanwhile, I can only barely remember what that was like. Secondly, Firefox, being freeware, allows people to create what are called extensions for the software to allow you to modify your browser in many ways, without ever really knowing any programming, yet you will have a much more functional way of finding the information you need online. Please give this great software a try. What have you got to lose but your irritation with another day of unending popups and ActiveX controls? Head on over to firefox to get your copy now!

See you next time, for more Stuf!
